Can I just mark folders to hide, rather that move it to vault? That was the way it could be done Folder Lock.
Always nervous about moving a 200 gig file back and forth (on different physical drive than program), or am I missing the concept here?
You were dupped. These guys take your money, and then ignore you. Look at the support response you got - none.
Your folder will NOT be hidden, except from your My Computer, and Exploere, else they are easily viewed by anyone on the network, or access to your computer. It is scumware. This place is a fake, as is their software.
I've used the paid version of FolderVault. Yes, it hides it - sort of. But logon on as anotehr admin, and browse the files - there they are. Run any reputable anti root-kit program and it will flag any so-called hidden file as being a root-kit threat and dete it/them (those "hidden" files.)
It is a piece of junk - ScumWare to be exact. It's better at loosing your data than protecting it. I have 27 years experience in computer security. This software is not qorth 12 cents, your time, or the bandwidth uses to suck peoiple in to buying their -stuff-.
