Disk Check (chkdsk) & Hidden Item List

I'm a registered user of FolderVault and I've got 2 issues with it:

1. I can't run a surface scan on my hard drives (Vista 32) as long as Folder Vault is installed. I have to uninstall FolderVault, run the disk scan, then reinstall. I'm talking here of course about the surface check that Windows performs when you check the disk for errors and choose the "Scan for attempt recovery of bad sectors option." This check can only be done when Windows is booting up, but when FolderVault is installed, the disk check doesn't work. Is there an easier work around?

2. On folders that I have manually added to FolderVault using the "Select" button, every time I unhide them, I have to manually readd the folder back to the list. It would be useful if Folder Vault would automatically unhide and rehide all hidden folders (not just the "Vault") when opening and closing FolderVault.

Thanks for your post, great information for our developers! We will be sure to take a look at the check disk and improving the way the hidden item list works. Look for this improvement in the next update to folder vault.
